Fall 2024 Fashion Trends

As the air turns crisp and leaves start to change, we know that time it is. Fall is finally here. That means it’s time to pull out our most chic sweaters, fur coats, and denim. Here are a few essential Fall fashion trends seen on the runways.

Era of Elevated Elegance

Think of the 1950s and 1960s, the style of Jackie O., and elevated silhouettes. Fashion houses such as Chanel, Valentino, Loewe, and Prada have brought these to light for this upcoming season. If you’ve kept up with the ‘quiet luxury’ trend (which honestly I dislike the term ‘quiet luxury,’ since to me, it’s just dressing classic), you can re-wear and elevate those pieces for the upcoming Fall season.

High Necklines

You’re in luck once again as you might already have this piece sitting in your closet. That’s right, high necklines are in this fall, meaning it’s turtleneck time. Prada, Bottega Veneta, and Proenza Schouler have been making this simple piece and styling it beautifully. A turtleneck is a classic piece and a Fall season staple! You can also go for a mock neckline as well.

Fur Furever

With the microtrend, the “mob wife aesthetic,” taking over earlier this year, this will not be the last time we see full fur coats. Fur coats are making a comeback this Fall 2024 season. If you want to be a little more environmentally conscious like myself, shop second-hand instead of buying a new fur or faux fur coat!

Denim Darling

Denim is one of the biggest trends for Fall 2024. It’s such a versatile trend to do since we all have a wonderful pair of jeans in our closet. Want to elevate it a little more? Layering denim on denim is a growing trend I’ve been seeing!

Brown and Deep Burgundy

I wouldn’t call this a trend since these colors are common during the fall time, but there is a focus on the browns and deep burgundy this season. Last year, we saw cherry red be a staple of last fall but this one we’re focusing on the deeper tones.
